Four Narwhal T-Shirt and Jorts

Rumor has it Chef Santos
has been substituting cheaper unicorn
and tears for the narwhal served
in its own gulf. The pick-
your-own tank up front
is just for show. Some even say
the narwhals run the place,
tap Morse on the glass
with hornteeth or run a psychic
puppetshow through soulful glass
eyes. At night Santos and the porter
knock back liters of Sagres, strip
to ratty cutoffs and dandle
legs in the tank. Sometimes
they trickle absinthe in the brine,
bidden by the sea-kings, watch
it louche all tie-dye as
the whirlpool around them gets slower
and slower.
