Razor Shines

Razor Shines lives on the hot corner,

brushes off his shoulders, tips his cap.

You know better than to think for yourself.

The way he crosses his arms

is the difference between suicide and safety.

When he says stop, you stop.

Someone with a cannon sees you thinking 

about home. You know better

than to think for yourself. Razor Shines 

is your eyes now.
