30/30
Supposed to be a funeral
I want peanut shells on the floor,
Johnny and June on the jukebox.
People should drink their usuals;
nobody should stand in a line.
I want the ones inside to think
I'm outside smoking, and the ones
outside to think I'm inside drinking.
If words come to you,
don't say them. They're guests here;
they knew me from work. Find them
a drink and take them home with you
at the end. No one should leave alone.
