Poem On: Day 17
Galvantula (#596)
Ooh electric silk. How many
merry widows were spun,
legs sheathed sheer
like bandits’ faces. Imagine
perfume. Sign another vodka
to the room and linger
at the hotel bar. Practice deceiving
yourself. No mercy
when you forget fine things
are made to take.
