I have invented the greatest dance move in the world.

It cannot be explained. It cannot be taught.

It can only be feared. A high-speed camera

would be useless to capture it, though

a sculptor might realize the spirit

of the movement in bronze or marble.

It is not a secret. It is simply past

the present mind, like showing a flashlight

to some Neanderthal who has barely

mastered fire. Even the band is wide-mouthed

in amazement, almost unwilling to accept

that by adding arms and legs to the crawl

of the bass, the taut skins of the drums,

something so damn funky came to life.
