When in Rome

L.A. times. L.A. looks. L.A. gear. L.A. guns
and their  L.A. dodgers. Every L.A. king
to his L.A. angel. It's L.A. law. Outside
the L.A. galaxy, the teeming red zone
of L.A. exes. No more struggles to keep up

L.A. fitness. No more to take the whisper
chamber floor of the L.A. forum. Cued by
some temblor of instinct, they packed,
knew it was time to find the L.A.-free way.
Under Hollywood lighting, human sacrifice
looks like this: Leaving. A choice. A greater
L.A. for your absence.

  1. This draws me in for reread. I like how it's also "la" like the song syllable, repeated visually. Then I like how deadly serious it seems by the end.
